Hello my name is Miles Paul I come from Kehewin Cree Nation, my mom is Pauline Lachance and my late dad is James Paul.
I created this little buisness C.C CREE-A-TIONZ of mine going on about 10 years now I specialize in doing feather work making spreaders for head roaches, bustles, dance sticks, other hand held accessories, breast plates, bells, plooms to hang on your outfits, and many more the list goes on.
I learned how to do all this kind of crafting from my late dad he showed me how to make everything built to last and with perfection, not to rush and to always put good live and energy into your work.
My type of work I craft means alot to me personally, everything I make I put alot of pride into it & to see my stuff all over pow wow country being used makes me feel good and happy to see there smiles on there faces when im done is what matters the most to me.
The things I like making the most is chicken spreaders and bustles everytime im done a order I hang it on the wall and just look at my work and admire how it turned out its something me and my late dad used to do together all the time after we would be done a project.
When people wear my work im hoping that it makes them feel good gives them that good energy to make them dance hard knowing that they got good qaulity strong work that will last for a long time to come thats probably one of my proudest moments as well is to see dancers wearing my creations
My advice to other artisans out there thats are creating such items is to always take pride in work not to rush your work and always take your time when making your crafts, to work on your stuff with a sober mindset so you can put good energy on your creations dont ever give up and always keep creating new ideas & to take risks with your work and always be proud of your work no matter what.
