Oskaya Healing Centre

Oskaya Healing Centre provides family support services to children and families in Frog Lake and Area  ~  We offer our clients professional care delivered by dedicated, qualified and caring staff.

Populations We Serve:

Oskaya Healing Centre Inc. is specifically designed to meet the healing and treatment needs of children and youth within a family-oriented program specific to those who would benefit from a family-based residential intervention. Oskaya Healing Centre Inc. is able to blend strategies in order to facilitate the most comprehensive support available to children youth in this region. Our programs are funded through either contracts and/or on a fee-for-service basis with Tribal Chief Child and Family Services (East).

The programs are designed to meet the emergent / respite (birth to 14 years) and/or the longer-term group living needs of children and youth for each gender from the age of twelve (12) to eighteen (18) years of age with capacity to extend care to the age of twenty-four (24). The potential clients are or may be at-risk for developing maladaptive behaviors, are struggling with emotional or mental health concerns, and/or are unable to reside within their family environment due to familial issues. This population requires a comprehensive approach to addressing concerns and developing or strengthening personal skills.
