 Community Overview

Profile: Whitefish Lake / Goodfish Lake is located North East of Edmonton, Alberta. It is centrally located between Lac La Biche, St. Paul and Smoky Lake. Our total population of Whitefish Lake (Goodfish Lake) is currently 2000 members On-Reserve

Vision: To provide quality health education & services to individuals, families and the membership while maintaining and protecting our Medicine Chest Clause of Treaty 6.

Mission: To educate and create awareness of First Nations’ health through a care model that includes prevention (awareness and education; intervention; assessments, referrals and counselling) and support in order to assist with the health of our members in our First Nation.
