The Project Manager role encompasses a wide range of duties, some of which include managing labour, purchasing, administration, cost control, supplier and subcontractor coordination, communication, scheduling, pricing of change orders, financial ownership of your projects, establishing and managing client relationships.
Modern Niagara is currently looking to hire a Piping Estimator to join our Calgary or Edmonton office. The role of the Piping Estimator is to prepare accurate tender prices from the available information such as drawings, specifications, and addenda or from the quality of items supplied by the client. Tenders include lump sum, guaranteed maximum price format, or unit rate pricing. The Estimator will be responsible to prepare, record and maintain pricing and assist the management team in the ongoing pursuit and acquisition of new work.
Modern Niagara is seeking a VDC Designer with strong REVIT experience to join our VDC Design team. We value designers with robust REVIT skills and developing expertise in multiple systems, code understanding, and routing optimization. The responsibilities of the Virtual Design & Construction Designer are to understand and further develop Engineering Consultant designs into fabricable/installable/coordinated virtual models to represent eventual site installation
